The Hanoi – Dien Bien run takes more than ten hours of mountain road, so Hai Van runs sleeper buses in the evening: sleep through it and arrive rested. Every trip is driven by someone who knows the road.
Today buses leave between 18:00 – 20:30 with an estimated journey of 10h10, arriving the next morning. Check the arrival date carefully, as these services run overnight.

Passengers from Dien Bien and Son La coming to Hanoi for treatment get a free shuttle from the 01 Nguyen Hoang office to the National Children's Hospital, Bach Mai, Viet Duc, K1, K Tan Trieu, the National Obstetrics Hospital, the National Eye Hospital, Hanoi Medical University Hospital, Military Hospital 108 and Military Hospital 103. Register with the hotline or the driver when you book.
Arrive early and rest in the lounge at 01 Nguyen Hoang: air conditioning, tea, snacks, fruit and space for luggage until it is time to board. Free shuttles also run from here to the National Children's Hospital, Bach Mai, Viet Duc and Military Hospital 103.

My Dinh Bus Station is at 20 Pham Hung Street, Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi; Dien Bien Phu City Bus Station is at 79 National Highway 12, Dien Bien Phu Ward. When booking, carefully check the pickup and drop-off names and times on your ticket, because a stop named “Dien Bien” is not necessarily Dien Bien Phu City Bus Station.

Choose Ban Phu as your destination from My Dinh. Ban Phu and Dien Bien are separate route options; do not substitute the Dien Bien journey. Call 1900 6763 to confirm the exact drop-off address in Ban Phu.
